Patrick Prünster is Managing Director of PHT Energietechnik GmbH in Pfäffikon SZ. His work covers solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, control engineering, load management and technically sound use of solar surplus.
His career began in South Tyrol with vocational training and qualification as a chimney sweep, providing an early understanding of heating systems, combustion, flues and efficient energy use. He then retrained and qualified as an electrician and worked as a heating and control systems technician.
He gained further experience at Bosch Home Comfort in Munich in modern heating and energy systems. Today he brings these disciplines together in Switzerland to create solutions that are understandable, expandable and carefully delivered.
His design principle is to understand the building, demand and objective first; then size components, clarify interfaces and optimise operation using real data.
