Solar power straight into the EV
Solar surplus charging increases self-consumption and directs locally generated electricity into mobility.
EV charging & wallbox
PHT connects the wallbox, electric car, solar PV, battery storage and building loads in a safe, clear charging solution.
A wallbox must suit more than the electric car: the building connection, required charging power, solar PV and other large loads must be considered together. PHT plans and installs EV chargers in Pfäffikon SZ, Schwyz, Höfe and March, around Lake Zurich and in Glarus.
EV charging & wallbox
Solar surplus charging increases self-consumption and directs locally generated electricity into mobility.
The building connection, distribution board, protection, cable route and required charging power are assessed before installation.
Dynamic load management coordinates the EV, heat pump, battery and other loads with the available capacity.
Communication, physical space and electrical capacity can be prepared for additional chargers or a second EV.
Process
Record the vehicle, daily distance, parking duration, charging location and preferred operation.
Check the grid connection, main distribution board, cable route, solar system and other large loads.
Set the charging power, interfaces, access, billing and solar or load management requirements.
Install, test and notify the charging point, then hand over understandable charging priorities.
EV charging & wallbox
The key is not the largest number but whether the vehicle receives the energy it needs during its normal parking time.
For solar-optimised charging, the wallbox, energy metering and control system must be compatible and respect minimum charging power.
Apartment buildings and companies need coordinated base infrastructure, load management, access rights, metering and billing.
E-mobility · Regional
PHT plans EV charging for detached homes, apartment buildings and smaller company car parks. The focus is safe electrical installation, solar surplus charging, intelligent load management and a clear expansion path for more electric vehicles.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on the vehicle, daily distance, parking time and building connection. For many homes, a properly controlled 11 kW wallbox is more useful than the maximum possible power.
With a compatible wallbox and energy management system, charging can follow the available solar surplus. For reliable mobility, a selectable mix of solar and grid power is usually more practical.
EV charging infrastructure is subject to notification in Switzerland. PHT checks the local grid operator requirements and coordinates the required documents.
Yes, if capacity reserve, cable routing, communication and load management are considered from the start. Prepared base infrastructure reduces later conversion work.
PHT serves projects in Pfäffikon SZ, Freienbach, Wollerau, Lachen, Schwyz, around Lake Zurich and in Glarus, beginning with the building connection, cable route and required charging functions.
